Our nursery business started as "Dave Self Wholesale Plants" in 1976, dealing in all types of plant/foliage materials.  We brokered our plants to florist shops and garden centers throughout South Florida.

In 1981, we purchased property in Loxahatchee and began growing seasonal color and holiday plants.  We changed our company name in 1992 to "Wyld West Annuals, Inc." to better suit the specific product we were growing.  The "Wyld" came from a name observed from a California garden center with "Wylde" used in its title.  This seemed an appropriate name since at the time Loxahatchee was undeveloped and somewhat “wild”.  We currently service golf courses, landscapers and maintenance companies with a wide variety of flowering seasonal color.

Wyld West Annuals is active in several associations, which include the Florida Nurserymen Growers Landscape Association (FNGLA), the Society of American Florists (SAF), and American Hort.  We are also involved with the Western Florida Farm Bureau, Palm Beach Soil & Water Conservation District and the Ag Enhancement Council of Palm Beach County.

We believe it is very important to serve and give back to an industry which has provided us with an opportunity to grow and sell our products.  We offer our time, talents and treasures to continue the wellbeing and future growth of the horticulture industry.
